Want to relive the exam? Paper has been published on the ACCA website – not with answers though!

I did Q4 too. In retrospect I probably should have done Q3. I summised that ethical stances meant dentological vs teleological so I put that in. Might be completely wrong. Question b I guessed was Gray, Owens and Adams. If that is wrong too then I might be in trouble. Q2 was ok. Q1 memo was horrible

Time pressure an issue for me too. Had to stop at 1:45 on Q1 in order to give sufficient time to do the others. Not happy with what I put but hopefully that with the other Qs will get the magic 50. Went for 3 and 4 – decision tree straightforward enough but messy in execution and SWOT/Ansoff I think was ok too…

Passed – 55%. Would not have passed without the Open Tuition lectures and notes so thanks folks!

Exam was fair. I struggled on both Q31 and Q32 but mainly because my technique on SoFP and Ratios was lacking. Delighted there was no SOCIE or statement of cash flows qs of any substance. Just hoping I did enough because I think I got 14 marks tops out of the 40 but the section B q’s I found relatively straightforward. Time will tell…

I used Becker for F5 and F7 (the interactive study text). F5 was good I thought but I found F7 was not nearly enough for me to get to grips with the material. It’s fine as a base but I prefer a combination of BPP, and the stuff on this site which for F7 was excellent.
