Hi,
is it compulsory to have a recommendation section for the RAP?. My mentor said if exceeding word limit, then its not necessary. But I believe it should be there. Please confirm if its compulsory. thanks

After consulting the Inf. pack, I am still confused. My existing mentor is a former lecturer in a university but is currently working in a financial company and PHD qualified. Does he still need to do the online mentoring course?

1. whether my mentor is required to do the online mentoring course so that I can use his name while submitting. Also, whether it is free or my mentor needs to pay for it?.

I am working on CSR_ Topic 20.Grateful if you could help me:

1. Should I use only one organisation or two for the Rap?

2. Should I prepare a questionaire for this topic to gather information? In the open tuition site itself, its stated that for topic 20, we must focus on secondary data, is it true? Does that mean there is no need to collect primary data on the org? and thus, no need to prepare a questionaire? Plz advice.

Hi, ur file size is ok bcoz mine ws 1134 kB.

wen u click on the “choose file” on the OBU website, another window/box will open n u will have to select ur file. and u’ll see there is no file for u to attach. right??? Then in the same window, u’ll see at the bottom of the right side of this box, u’ll see ‘custom files’. Click on it and then select ” All files”. It is then u can select ur ppt file and attach. ok

Just want to know, have you been able to choose ur ppt file when browsing? IF it is yes, then u’ll have to select ” All files instead of Custom files. It is then you’ll see all ur doc. and be able to choose ur file. and then it’ll be fine.

Otherwise, maybe the file size is too much for the ppt.

Just want to know for file size : 10 MB = ……… Kb

And in the info pack, its stated that All submitted folders (RAP, SLS, PPt, Appendix and List of references) should not be more than 10MB. Am I right or wrong?. Correct me if I am misunderstanding.

But still, the word limit is exceeded by the content page. So must I reduce words from my RAP itself?

Yea its true , today I have learnt that The word limit includes the title page, table of content and everything upto the conclusions. But I have also included an acknowledgement part which is just after the content page, So is the acknowledgement part counted in it also. I Have already exceeded the word limit. What to do now? I ws thinking of submitting today.

Should I complete the Research and Analysis Project checklist (appendix 6).I mean should I put a tick besides each point in the checklist if I satisfy them and save it and submit it to the OBU.?

Hi,
It is said that use of spreadsheets are necessary for passing the RAP. For Topic 20, I have used excel sheet only for making my graphs which I have later paste the graphs in my analysis section in RAP. So, still Should I attach the excel sheet doc in appendix for submission.
