    @pawelski

    What type of questions were asked from Variance and how many approx ? In most of the questions it takes me more than 3-4 mins to complete that too with mistakes, I really suck at it.

    Im also self studying just by using kaplan study text and kit. I’ll go for P1 this month and OCS in aug and I really don’t know how go tackle OCS . I have gathered some Materials which might help you to prepare for Case studies. If you can provide your Email Id then I’ll send it to you.

    Yes there’s a lot of area to cover but the syllabus is also very interesting. Its not that boring like audit. Most of the question in my exam were case based where they give you a small 2-4 line of info and ask questions from that . Where possible they also ask simple amd direct questions.
    Nothing to worry about , if you can conquer P1 in 3 weeks then E1 will be moonwalk for you. ?

    Thank you Janicess. So basically they ask more theoretical questions rather than calculative. Most of the people I spoke to said the same about P1 . But in F1 I found the question were more balanced and E1 was pretty easy.

    Past papers are available for exam till 2014 because after that the pattern changed to OTQs. You can find resources for case study exams in CIMA website.
