SIR I have 17 day left upto my SBR exam and i am a full time student done with my lectures and study text started my BPP exam kit did 4 questions of consolidation and i found them very difficult it almost took me double the time (51 min questions room me 2 hours ) by this pace i would only be able to solve 60 questions from the texts and 10 mock test(12 days for bpp kit and 5 day for mock) I am worried if this would be sufficient to clear the exam.

    Mainly because
    1) it takes me double the time to complete a question . I leave out a lot of questions in exam
    2) my calculation are correct but my explanation & discussions are so different than the ones in the study text
    3) IN some questions i don’t know what to write at all ( even though there is no knowledge gap i done the study text twice)

So (lecture + study kit) and 10 past papers would be sufficient to clear the exam so doing the Revision kit would not be necessary ?

I have attempted all the question in my revision kit which is the lastest version(professional marks included).since sir you have said that “There is no point in looking at 8 past papers” what should i do next ?

DOUBT – Would just doing the lastest version of bpp exam kit be enough to clear the exam no need for any past paper?

Sir your reply to query 2 did not clear my doubt maybe I couldn’t communicate my question right ill try rephrasing it –

Sir which approach would it be more effective to

APPROACH-1) – To do BPP revsision kit and 8 past paper question given on acca website

    OR

APPROACH-2) – After the end of each chapter my ALP provides question relating to that chapter from past P3 paper questions (like P3 – Dec 2009 Q2: Value Chain Independent Living) Skip The BPP exam kit focus more on question from past P3 paper question relating to particular chapter and ALSO SOLVE 8 PAST PAPER QUESTION given on acca website

DOUBT – which approach to would be more effective? – thanks

question specifically states that the selling price in the first year will be $100 thats right but it also say’s that the selling price is 100 before increasing with the rate of inflation annually so doesn’t it means that we have to increase it with the rate of inflation?

THE POINT RELEVANT TO CALCULATIG SALES

The initial selling price in Year 1 is expected to be $100 per unit, before increasing with the rate of inflation annually.

The expected annual rate of inflation in the country in which Fernhurst Co is located is 4% in
    Year 1 and 5% in Years 2 to 4.

DOUBT – in the solution they have taken 100 per unit in year 1 and then 100*1.05=105 in year 2 (they have completely ignored the inflation figure for year 1 i.e 4%)

so in a question i was getting answer as 26568.456 so even you write is should be 26569
(since .4 becomes 5 since the digit after it is greater than 5 so if i round it till 1 decimal point it would be 26568.5 if i round round it off to the nearest dollar it should be 26569 since the digit after the point is greter than 5 in the textbook it was 26568 and i had got 26569 due to rounding of to ther nearest dollar so would i get marks deuducted for this?
