Am I the only one dreading the moment when we receive the results?

I am really worried and anxious!

This is my second attempt as from Dec’21 I did not pass only for 3 marks!

I really did prepare very well this time especially when it comes to theoritcal questions and also improved my exam technique (I got this feedback from an ACCA examiner as I submitted the practice question provided for March exam)

However on the exam I found it quite difficult and I highly doubt that I will receive a pass this time 🙁

    So so worried !

Hi John yes I did and scored on 50s and 60s but as I said I don’t give high hopes, since doing well in your revision and then you obtain 37 in actual exam 🙁

Hi John, thanks for the reply yes currently I have the latest BBP Revision Kit and I have attempted the mocks and scored very well, but I don’t put high hopes on this as then I failed in actual exam so I am looking for all the resources

Hi John I watched the lecture and when I worked it out as you explained it gave me $300 (A)

basically I have found the difference between ‘Standard Qty Standard Mix’ with ‘Actual Qty Standard mix’ and multiply by the budgeted profit that is $10, $6, $2

I cannot find out what I am doing wrong

ok understood however in the answer it says that:

    Sales rev of $1.5m total contr 45% x 1.5m = $675,000
it leaves a further $625,000 of fixed cost to cover. To achieve breakeven sales in excess of 1.5m need to be $625,000 / 0.48 = $1.302

So does this means that the question is asking the breakeven sales in excess ? as I could not understand what its after

I could not understand the part where you say ‘That would leave them needed extra contribution of 9,000 – 7,200 = $1,800’ does the 9,000 represent the Fixed Cost?

Well from my end I had the same feeling I was first relaxed and confident but then I started feeling a bit unassured on the answers I submitted.

There again English is my second language but in my revision papers I always manage to understand the question, the set of questions I had in Section B were on learning curve, target cost, and limiting factor. Section C I had variances and transfer price (which I found this question quite difficult)

I really doubt if I see a pass :/ I did my very best when I start thinking I really start getting worried of what should I do next
