The secret to passing really is NEVER GIVE UP. I thought there was no way I passed given the whole new way in which the syllabus has evolved but I passed first time,

    my focus whilst studying was
    – open tuition lectures
    – bpp texts – used to do relevant questions to apply standards
-bpp – practice and revisions kits
    – acca specimen papers
    – acca – examiner reports and articles ( a must)

This forum and community have supported me through the many many long hours of studying and doubt that I personally had.

To those of you doing resits – KEEP GOING – you have the right tools and resources to get there!!!!
Thank you kindly to the Open Tuition lecturers and all of you students who gave me excellent advise !!!!

    Hi Martin,

Unfortunately, ive also asked this question too and the official line from ACCA is no.

I guess it would be unfair to candidates on the 9th december sitting which is understandsable but, I guess we wont really know till tomorrow.

Personally, I know the comments on the forums highlighted a material departure from previous exams but at this stage past papers and revising brief summarised notes should help. Keeping it light and as unstressed as possible!!! (im telling myself that tbh)

What else can you do but give it your best shot.

    Goodluck !!!!

They have been terrible. I spoke with ACCA and requested a call back but still nothing.

    Thank you though.

During my remote exam for SBR the Procter insisted i remove my two pieces of paper before the exam despite my protests.

He then did not provide assistance when my internet connection failed,( when eventually calling me after 20 minutes of waiting) he then cancelled my exam despite me having 1 hour remaining and an alternative wifi connection being available.

I now have to redo the exam at 5:15am on 15th december?

    Is this normal?

ditto I just ate 4 nutella sandwhiches –

    how depressing is this …….

My remote exam failed when i was on my final question(q1)

Despite me praying and crossing everything the procter was also unable to get me back online – i think it was his first day somehow ( crying face – mine that is)

to top this bunch of crap off i have to sit this exam again on the 15th dec at 4:45am – someone must hate me ( another crying face)

    anyone esle have technical issues???????

After doing as much as I can to prepare I am now focussed on doing the mock exams and specimen exams.

Did you find when you sat the papers that the exam on the day was very similar?

I experienced technical difficulties with the exam and im not sure if its me but I was unable to view the questions on the screen. The format of the exam seems to not be compatible with the monitors used at our exam centre.

My other issue today was also the time lag and slight freezing of my screen every time i went from one question to the other

    Anyone else ever experienced this?????
