I scored 70%. I am now an ACCA affiliate. Thanks to the Almighty. For those who failed, please do not give up. This was my 3rd attempt but my 1st attempt as a CBE. Just practice more pass papers under time pressure, read examiners reports and technical articles and you will eventually pass.

It always shows that red 1 no matter how many papers you sat. I am also waiting on my final 2 papers and I am seeing the same red 1.

Waiting on AAA and SBL – final 2 papers. I hope to pass both. Fingers crossed. The wait for results is nerve-racking.

Do not give up. I recommend practicing past papers. Do at least 5 under time pressure and have it marked by an ACCA tutor. Pay attention to the feedback for areas needing improvement.
I also think we have the knowledge to pass but the exam technique gets the better of us sometimes. I got 38 on my first attempt. I then did many past papers and read examiner’s articles. I noted the common mistakes made by students and avoided these as best as possible. A next good point is to assess the allocation of marks in the Answers section of the past papers to see what type of answers warrants certain amount of marks. Finally, time management and discipline is key. Try to attempt all questions but ensuring that your answer is quality over quantity. Before attempting questions, I wrote the time down when I was supposed to end each question. All of this allowed me to pass with a 54 on my second attempt. Good luck on your next attempt.

If you scroll to the very bottom of this forum, you will see a countdown to results day. It now appears to be off by 1 hour as it is now 12:11pm in the UK.

Results will be published on myACCA on 05:00 January 18 – UK time. However, you are able to sign up to receive results by text and email. This method would allow you to receive results at 0:00 (midnight) – UK time. In actuality, students receive results within 10 mins after midnight – UK time. Therefore, there is just a 5 hour difference between text/email vs myACCA. Hope this helps.
