Reading your comments makes me feel relief because I am not the only who’s shocked after the exam. I scored 85 in FR and my financial reporting knowledge is firm, however, SBR does really test in a different level. I attempted all, but the main mark I think I will firmly gain is about 40. The rest will depend on how my writing-about-thing-i-dont-understand skill goes 🙂

Hi Dve1, I did the same, calculate the asset beta then geared back to have equity beta and them calculate CAPM. I remember the company is highly geared so equity beta is more than 2 and my CAPM is 19%

Kim Smith wrote:Thank you for your comment Min. How are things in Czechia? I have been going on holiday with my very good friend from Prague every year for more than 10 years – but it will have been 2 1/2 years by the next time we are likely to have chance to do that again.

Hi Kim, I am from Prague and most of my colleagues are in the UK 🙂 Hope the situation will be better and you soon can visit Prague again.

If you see “Attempted” under the exam then it is submitted. I have a different issue in the last 30 second of the exam and exam closed automatically and I am also waiting for that “Attempted” to make sure my exam is submitted :-ss

Hello Kim, thank you. Just FYI for future students who will take on-demand CBE, ACCA just updated their examination software from v28 to v29, so it won’t allow corporate laptop to install this (even without VPN). So it’s better to have a backup laptop that is non-corporate setup (I had to rush and borrow a Window one as my Macbook won’t work as well). Wondering how it will work for June exam normal CBE, as I was doing fine with my corporate laptop for March exam CBE.

Unnecessary stress for me, but I got the token after calling ACCA however, I cannot install the application (it keeps showing me that this is a wrong exam/wrong detail) while I got both of them correct. Call ACCA, ACCA refers me to contact ProctorU. ProctorU is not able to check this … Wondering if I should install it before the exam, or on the exam date?

Honestly when I first decided to take 2 exams at the same sitting, I was scared. I am also a full-timer but being grateful that I have opportunities to work from home during this last year. This saved me lots of time travelling and can spend more time on studying. I studied for F5 and F7 for roughly 2 months and I don’t think I have enough time at first, but at the end of month 1, I already finished all textbooks, all exam kits (even did them all 3 times). I didn’t spend much time but I truly focused while study. During the second month, I was just reviewing and redo (again) all the exercise in exam kits and really understand the questions (why the option is correct and the other is incorrect) and ready all technical articles in ACCA website (100% helpful). ACCA exam is difficult since it is broad, it requires true understanding instead of just learn-by-heart stuff. But I did well thanks to Opentuition lectures 🙂 and yes, please don’t be afraid to take multiple exams at one sitting. It is possible 🙂

Does anyone not receive the token to download the exam software? I am taking exam on Friday and today I still didn’t receive token …. Wrote to ACCA but of course it takes them time to give an answer and I am afraid I still don’t have token on exam day :-ss The exam cannot be rescheduled unfortunately.

Hi Tutor, same question for me.

    Normally consolidated IS will be

    Revenue – deduct intra-sales
    COS – deduct intra-sales + PUP.

if now PUP is 0, don’t we need to add back both intra-sales in Rev and COS?
