Can anyone advise if it’s worth it to submit the results for administrative review ?

I was told by my lecturer that marginal students are reviewed twice. Those are who got 47-53 marks. Even if you got 53 they will review your paper again and if they will find fundamental error they can drop your marking to 49. So if you got 49 then most likely you did some serious error. It may seem strange but I think it makes sense

I was one of them who was very disappointed with the fairness of the Q1 on which I spent 30 minutes over allowed time. My family had to listen to my moaning all night long after exam. I was pretty sure I failed again for the third time – but no….I got 57%. I am so happy now, I also passed P3 with 50% – also from third attempt. Now just 1 more exam left :))))))))))))

And big thanks to John for a help with studies and for the patience :)))))))

    Hi John,

Is this FRA calculated correctly? Our actual rate is 4.79%, payment to bank is Libor rate 4.99% less FRA 4.82?

In my book I have different. Settlement on FRA is difference between actual and FRA ( 4.79%-4.82%)

    Which one is correct?

FCFF free cash flow to firm
FCFE free cash flow to equity

That’s how we were writing in collage. Sometimes in tabular workings there is no space for long words. But such simple things like PAT examiner would understand?

I wanted to ask the similar thing. Would it be OK to use abriviations in calculations/workings like c/f, FCFF, PAT, PBIT etc?

Right, then the normal location of other relevant cash flows is in base case calculation. Thanks again John 🙂

If I use company’s normal borrowing rate to discount cash flows I state assumption that it is actual cost. But If using risk free rate, what assumption can we say about it, why we used this rate?

I was comparing to December 2011 question 1, where there are included opportunity cost and additional contribution in APV calculation.

Well inter company trading is ignored. Value of C department is just MV of assets. But what about department A? Doesn’t it create any value to Vogel?

Is this share of profits included in current assets value?
Its confusing because in cash flows they include their share of profits.

Those are just contributions per year. In first table is shown contribution per course. So we just need to multiply it by 40 (expected courses per year).

    40 x 700 = 28000
    40 x 1400 = 56000

    Manual 20 x 3 delegates

    It totals to 2250

    hope it helps
