How did you find the building block question for 15 marks. Felt like there wasn’t 15 marks worth to say with only using 4 determinants.

Just made points around the standards and rewards of the building block, achievability leading to motivation, ownership leading to clarity etc.
Bonus was based on customer satisfaction, maybe factors outside the control of the drivers, was 85% realistic ? and where did that figure come from, what was the current level ?, plus surveys are subjective.

The operational gearing I messed up on.
4 headings under “what gets measured, gets done” was a little tough.

Struggled to write 15 marks worth on 4 elements of the building block though.
Rest was ok to be honest.

    Sure you’ve done well !

    Q1

    evaluate their performance report:

    18 marks for quantative

12 for qualative (had to rewrite their commentary and suggest new kpis)

    8 marks on operational gearing

12 marks on “what gets measured gets done”

    Q2

    15 marks on BPR

10 marks on reward system for employees

    Q3

15 marks on building block (4 determinants)

10 marks on unified corporate system

    Was expecting more smaller requirements
No eva or corporate failure unfortunately.

I wouldn’t read anything into it.
Liklihood is that its completely random, otherwise people would have realised the system already.

Also passed an exam received at 10 past once

Don’t think it does, just random.

Failed once and it was ten past.

Agreed, I loved the internal controls question and slides for outsourcing.
Q2 I was debating wether to use SAF but I didnt, did pros and cons for each proposal.
    Q5 was a bit rubbish

CAD, designing boxes for customer orders etc, order goes to CAM to get processed. Robotics carry out the cutting to improve efficiency and reduce wastage materials . Just stuff like that

Love that and the question after that for internal controls.

    I attempted SBL
Felt very confident after the exam apart from one question about risk management.

    This is what i had:

    1) Compare financial statements, (financial and non financial issues)
1b) Compare two product proposals for market penetration and diversification (ansoffs matrix)
    2) How to improve risk management in the workplace
3 a) Suggest improvements to entire process using CAD, CAM and robotics
3 b) Internal controls suggestions with explanations
    4) Pros and Cons of outsourcing HR and IT department, format of slides
    5) Press release on reassuring stakeholders (Newspaper article bad mouthing the company about not being enviromentally friendly)

2 and 5 being the weaker questions for me.

I had my antivirus block webcam at the start which scared the crap out of me.

Asked the indivigilator how to stop the 15m warning, he said to press esc. Then he said OK 4 times which kept spamming and opening the chat box…
