I am afraid that FA 24 lecture/manual will not be provided.
However, there are textbooks and resources out there from Kaplan and BPP.
Also the ACCA website has resources you can use.

The nil rate band is changing. Check you are looking at the correct FA for your exam.
Open Tuition will provide an update on the status of the manual and lectures for June exams in due course.

But E – the building is let out and therefore not used in their business – it’s an investment that produces rental income

You should not being doing exam style questions that are 3 years out of date. The rules may have changed. Please use current resources only.

    Pesnions are complicated.
An occupational pension is deducted directly from the salary by the empolyer thus giving tax relief at all levels. This pension does not necessarily appear in any tax computation, it depends on the questions and it does not need to be taken into account for the BR/HR band extensions.

Private pensions are paid net by the individual and the pension company claim the tax. 20% relief is therefore claimed automatically. To get further relief at HR/AR the GROSS pension extends these rates giving relief as appropriate rate. It does not appear in the computation – only as a working to extend the bands.

Everyone can give 100%/£3600 into a pension fund but it might not attract tax relief. That amount that does attract relief depends on the annual allowance.

    Hi

I added the legal fees back as they are a capital expense that will then be deducted in any future CGT computation.

However, there are textbooks and resources out there from Kaplan and BPP.
Also the ACCA website has resources you can use.
It might be worth getting a text book and then seeing if the rules have changed since FA23.
If the rules have NOT changed then you can still watch the FA23 lectures to assist you in your studies, though the dates etc will be wrong.

Also – I am staying here to answer any queries you might have and to offer assistance/explanations.

Watch the lectures and do all the examples in the manual first until probably mid-late Feb then move onto the BPP exam kit and practice practice practice to test what you have learned.
