I also felt I did quite ok, but scored 44%. That was second time. I have no idea how to prepare, may be I missed professional marks… Very demotivated, that was my last paper..

I ‘m in a similar boat and did AFM with 5th time. From my experience I can say that you have to take a tutor, yes it costs, but they keep you on track all the time and also give feedback about mock exams (And paying 5 times for exam also is costing and loosing time as well). For me self studying was not working anymore for the advanced exams. I still have to do APM in December and I booked already a tutor.

I also have family, a very demanding job and even I have couple years more than you:) And I ‘m also proving to myself the same:)

ACCA answered to my complain, and I got back money for exam, but it is not possible to sit exam sooner than in march.

But I ‘m not more positive, because I read that this AFM was disaster, most probably I would fail again:( At least I did not lost money, just time what I spent for studies, but that is good for my development anyway…

I have the same issues, could not rebook, wrote all possible complains and actually I start to think about the competences and service of ACCA as organization, After Covid years it is very bad and we are paying fees and do not receive a qualitative service, there are technical problems during exam, to reach by phone somebody is not possible, when you write mail, you receive automatic answers, I’m just thinking that may be all that hard work is not worth anything… I ‘m 3 exams away from finishing, but may be all that was a waste of time.

Will you write to ACCA a complain? I fully agree that it is not normal to pay again for another time and the same can happen again.

If I borrow 1000EUR for 3 years and at the end of year 3 I pay all principal+interest which is 1300EUR, how did you calculate $1331? Then I discount 1300*0.751=976$, which is PV of amount borrowed and interest, is that correct?

I still do not get it:( 21.135 per year is the repayment of loan principal. You write that if money borrowed at 8% then PV of the repayments AND THE INTEREST will always be the amount borrowed. I really do not get it. In my understanding PV of principal repayments will be the amount borrowed. It seems I do not understand what means “equal annual repayment”, I think it is the principal amount and % come on top. May be I misunderstand the formulation of “equal annual instalments”? Why you add the interest when calculate the opening balance of the next year.

I ‘m completely lost in this, but actually it seemed to be not so complicated, just I ‘m something not understanding fully there:(

Now I ‘m also confused about taking pictures. Do I understand correctly that pictures should be taken by webcamera? In the ACCA website video is mobile hone mentioned as first, but I do not understand how then the pictures are uploaded into the system.

Passed with 54%, still can’t believe!!! Studied OT lectures and Kapplan exam kit.

The majority what I studied from Kaplan was not needed. So very hard exam and I’m sure I did not pass. The 4th question about taxes was disaster and so the 1st one about the cash flow. Seems that there were put in all specific situations and detailes which I did not studied.
