After going through the CIMA P2 practice questions and wondering how they’ve come up with the calculations (even with the model answer), this has made the question clearer even though you’ve come up with a different answer. Thank you.

    Hi,

I started by doing AAT first and now doing CIMA operational. AAT would teach you the same things as the first four courses in CIMA but over a longer period.

If you are confident in your understanding of the first 4 modules in CIMA then there’s no need to undertake AAT. I don’t think if you were to go straight into CIMA it would hurt your chances anymore/less then if you had started doing AAT. However, it can be difficult getting into finance without any experience.

Feel free to ask me any further questions on this 🙂

Hey, I got 38% in my last F5 exam. I agree getting your head around all the variances are hard.

Thank you for the links! 🙂

I received a survey from ACCA asking about my experiences of the March exam sitting. I gave precise details about how bad the CBE software is. Would encourage all who receive one to reply so ACCA can make needed changes.

    Hi,
A question for all those candidates that sat the paper with Section C questions on the 3Es and the hotel. Did anyone else have trouble seeing the whole hotel question on their screen? I’m aware that you had to scroll up and down but I also had to scroll left and right which made analysing the graph and picking out the relevant information quite difficult. It was so time consuming!!! Not what I needed on my last question 🙁

Yea, I had the same issue! :((

    chairs is the correct answer…..

I agree that you rank per scarce resource and tables were first. My question definitely asked how many tables because I spent about 5 minutes on it scratching my head :((

Did anyone have a question on tables and chairs in section B? One question was how many tables should be produced in quarter 1, limiting factor was 25m3 of oak each table used 5m3….however, 4 tables was not an option so I selected the maximum demand.

Now I’m getting really suspicious about why ACCA ask you about your learning providers when printing out the docket.

I also got questions on the 3 Es and hospital.

I found this exam very hard. I had taken F4 and got a pass of 84%. I feel I have definitely failed F5 since I guessed about 5 questions and didn’t answer much of section C.

    f4notes – yes, 10m

saruccia – yes, I got one on the bank. I didnt know where to start…1000 customers each year, 500 leave in y1 500 in y2 etc etc.
Saif – do you know how you worked out $25?

vinxi – yes. I had been revising material variances not sales :(( so I didn’t have a clue on a lot of them.

suay – 30 hrs a day is possible with for instance more then 1 nurse i,e 2 nurses provide a patient 15 hrs of care a day.
