We do not have four sessions yet, will be from next year. Not P1, P3 and 2 optional papers.

    Thank you very much, sir!
I will follow your suggestion with examiner’s answers.
Yes, I have read how they applied IAS/IFRS while answering questions, so revising a little bit P2 also.
    Thanks again.

    Hi!
Please don’t be frustrated, just love ACCA as much as you love your work and enjoy gaining the conceptual knowledge besides practical knowledge. Give enough time to your studies.
I joined CAT in ’09 and this Dec is hopefully going to be my last semester for affiliation. 4 P’s you must have to pass ACCA-
    Patience,
    Passion,
    Prayer and the most important
    PRACTICE!
All the best for your future ACCA journey!

This was quite difficult not a ‘mark catcher’ exam.

I’m revising the theory part, one really should have much knowledge to ans the written part even though it’s related with the math attached!
Do you think that if I stuck on a theory question I should leave a page and come again later even if I NEVER read that before! Should I try to write something? Or it’s just waste of time?

Thanks for telling that because I was solving from kit and saw the ans. there but the REAL ans. is clear. 😀

The source where I got it says nothing about it. Thanks for reminding me about Google! Google says, Generic benchmarking is,
    Method of comparing the
    performance and processes of
    organizations in unrelated
    industries.

Thank you very much for your reply, sir.
It is very important for me to pass all three in this semester-something like life/death…that is why I do not want any obstruction (fear, sickness etc.) before/during my exam.
    I am trying my best
and no psychiatrist/psycologist can solve the problem of an ACCA student as good as an ACCA tutor can.

Yes, just have solved one question. The NPV came out positive with the first rate so took a higher rate than that for IRR, NPV was negative this time and ans. was exactly the same of the kit ans., for the first time! Thank you once again!

Thank you very much, Sir. I didn’t know this before and I use this formula,
Lower rate+ (Higher rate – Lower rate)/(Lower rate NPV – Higher rate NPV) x Lower rate NPV.
My ans. comes out totally different from the real ans. I’ll try that rule next time.

    One more question, Sir.
How to answer a Swim-lane chart problem? It is quite difficult to find out what’s wrong is going on.

    Hi!
According to my assumption, WC was not released because in the question there is no indication that the company wanted to recover WC at the end of year 4.
It solely depend on director’s choice and normally you will see that where inflation rate affects WC, recovery is avoided.
However, the tutor can say better.

    I have one more question.
Where should I study ‘Current Issues’ from? I’ve gone through Text and Articles but should I also read from IAS websites?
