I am waiting SBL results but I don’t expect much, to be honest… This was truly weird paper requiring “common sense” which is very subjective …. My plans were to go on June session only if I have to resit SBL and to do ATX in September. And now all those plans got messed up and I will have to either choose another paper for September or postpone ATX for December …

I am waiting for SBL results; I don’t know what to expect, honestly… It was the weirdest exam ever… I only have one other paper left but I am struggling to make the choice… I was hoping to do ATX but if I fail on Monday and have to resit SBL I won’t be able to do ATX as well in September. That means I will have to chose another paper because I don’t want to drag this into December as well…

this is, i think, the fourth thread about the results. The other three got deleted…(i can’t imagine why) but they were full of all the theories that some finalists get so obsessed with…

i am not a finalist either. I am waiting for AAA and SBR and i have two more to go

I was in the same situation a month ago. I sat FM (my last F paper) at Dec 18 and my plan was to go with AFM next as it is upgrading the same knowledge. The problem was that it turned out to be a lot harder paper than i thought and going out of the exam room I didn’t feel like I had a chance to pass…
So there was a very good chance for me to have to resit FM and since FM and AFM are at the same date and at the same time, there was no way to do both…. so I had to choose another option… at the same time SBL and SBR are new papers and I want to leave that for the end (hopefully there will be more past papers, examiner’s reports and study materials available).
All that narrowed my options to the second optional paper, in my case AAA…

passed with 56%, still can’t believe it, it was very hard paper:-))
now I am part qualified, i guess
only 4 more to go

As a finalist I must say that our stakes are very high.

Some are waiting for a promotion.

Some have studied very hard and want to get rid of the mental burden of ACCA.

Some are thinking about more time with family and kids.

So being a finalist isnt as easy as an F or P exam result awaiting student is. Please understand that after tomorrow this forum would end and everyone would go to their respective forum.

so basically, you’re saying:
Non-finalists can’t understand your “complicated” situation as finalists because we don’t have anything at stake,
-we couldn’t possibly have career plans;
-we didn’t study hard at all
-we don’t need to spend any time with our kids and families
and waiting for any other exam result, beside the final one, is walk in the park

With all due respect to the people who made it to the final exam, i understand that you want for all of this to be finally over and you wouldn’t want to go back studying for the same exam on Monday. But guess what – neither do we…

I am all about separate forums from now on… and hopefully at least in one of these new forums no one will make the moderator apologize for doing his/her job….

Well, good luck to all of you:-))) To the finalists- hope you have passed so you can stop obsessing about rubbish theories and go back to your lives and to all non-finalists (including me) – fingers crossed we have made it but even if not, there is always another chance; this is not the end of the world, right?

I don’t understand all that effort to try to guess your exam results before they are released… What change does that make? You all look for clues here and there, if you find them, you don’t dare to believe them; if you don’t find them, you keep hoping… either way you won’t know for sure till midnight tomorrow… seems like an emotional waste to me….
