I wrote to ACCA with the same question and received the below reply. Conclusion it, they will put “exempted” on the ACCA transcript.

    ##Email from ACCA

    Thanks for contacting us.

I’m very sorry to learn of any confusion caused regarding the MSc Accountancy programme.

If you’re awarded exemptions for any papers this would appear on your exam status report as an ‘exemption’.

If you are interested in gaining a Master’s degree in Professional Accountancy, then you may be interested in the partnership that we have with the University of London where you can gain this qualification in addition to your ACCA qualification.

The MSc in Professional Accountancy is available to ACCA students, affiliates and members. There are many benefits to undertaking this qualification including the association with two world-leading organisations, ACCA and the University of London, which is hugely influential to potential employers.

To find out how you can undertake this qualification, please refer to the UOL website for the entry requirements.

If you need any further help, please contact us again.

    Thanks,

Appreciate if some could help me to answer, to clear my confusion.

If one complete the MScPA from UoL with Pathway 1 options (ACCA student), does that lead to exemption from two professional/advanced papers or marks obtained on two modules for MSc is considered to be for the 2 remaining professional/advanced papers. In other words, what is mentioned in your ACCA transcript, the marks you obtained form the the exam you wrote for MsC or the word “exempt”?

    Hi all,

I am a Student member (ACCA), with 2 more P-papers to complete, and now in Canada. I recently received a job offer of accounting assistant here in Canada, through Robert-Half (Accountemps). Specifically, I am contracted by Robert-Half (thus I am their employee) to a company, where I am working as an accounting assistant. At Robert half my supervisor is a recruiting manager who help me to assign my job. But the company where I worked, I have a supervisor, who actually is a CPA (Canada) and supervise, help and guide me on my day-to-day roles.

I would like register this job a part of my PER in myACCA Experience. Can someone help me to do so, based on their similar experience or opinion. I am particularity confused on (i) whom should I put as my employer, Robert-Half who pays me or The company where I actually work; (ii) who is my supervisor and son.

    Please help
