    Hello Kim,

I can’t thank you enough for your very informative replies in this and the related post about ACCA members in France.

I’m happy that I did start the topic, and it will definitely help me appreciate the ACCA membership more.

On a sentimental side, the comment about Georgia and Tbilisi (my home town), just warmed up my heart 🙂

    All the best!
    Ana

@Amaniabuzaid personally I think it’s way more convenient and easy than turning around with your laptop. During the checking process the proctor asked me to retake a picture of my ID 2 or 3 times and to take another close-up picture of my desk. I did it fast and without any difficulties with my phone. I imagine getting the right focus and setting with my laptop integrated camera would have been trickier.

Hi @slawlor92, yes mouse mat was definitely not permitted. I just don’t remember where I picked up this information as it is only implied in the work area set up instructions (Google ”
Remote session CBE: Your work area on exam day”, I’m not sure why I’m unable to paste the link here). It might have been discussed in one of the CBE exam preparation webinars.

    Hello Kay,

Unfortunately, I think I never received alerts for your replies and I also had some doubts about continuing with my ACCA qualification altogether, so I took some break and I never checked back in.

I saw on the forum that you had since passed SBR and have only one exam remaining, well done! 🙂

If you are still around, I also replied to your old topic in the forum, here: https://opentuition.com/topic/any-acca-member-from-france/

    Best,
    Ana

    Hi Kay,

I’m also in France but in the opposite situation. I’m looking into the possibilities of getting a French equivalent (DEC) after I will finalise my ACCA qualification. Do you have any experience with this or have any information?

    Thanks,
    Ana

I still have no idea what examiner wanted us to say for the requirement 4. To write an inspiring email for the project team?

I also got stuck on the question on improving value chain activities (was it 1-b?). Everything looked perfect 🙂 we’re they overdoing with controls?

Best of luck to you all!

    Hi Ana,
Please I want to encourage you don’t give up. I know how difficult it is doing this with a baby to take care of. Try and go through the videos again and practice practice practice thats the secret.
    You can do it!!

Ana, never give up – I had a baby as well and passed all my exams. Never look back only forward. I know how difficult it can be – but believe me – it will worth it. Your baby will be very proud of qualified mum 🙂 Keep calm and carry on…

Thank you so much both of you!

I had a dark day on 16th, exam failure coupled with an email about not getting the job I hoped for! but I’m moving on now and getting my mind around resitting 🙂 your messages really ecouraged me that day. Eventually my baby will require less time from me and if I’ll organise my time really well, hopefully I’ll finish my exams. Best of luck to both of you in everything you do!

thank you so much both of you!! It was a really dark day for me: the exam results, coupled with an email about not getting a job I hoped for… but I’m moving on and getting my mind around retaking 🙂 Your messages really encouraged me. Thank you again and the best of luck to you in everything you do!

42 ? I’m really sad. I’m thinking about not giving up and retaking, but then in the next 5 mins I’m thinking that I’ll never be able to finish P exams and that I should give up. I knew I didn’t practice enough questions from the revision kit, but I did watch all the videos here and did the notes with their exercises. My 3 month old baby at the time, won’t be giving me much free time to study any time sooner anyway ?
