Passed with 51 in my third attempt…..
This was my 12th exam , now just 1 to go !
Absolutely roller coaster ride with this paper!
But I persisted and did not think of going with any other teacher than Mr Sir Hasan Dossani.
He is really the GOAT guyz.
Go with him !
Rest, depends on your luck and individual common sense and application sense.

I have passed 11 papers.
My second sitting for SBL.
Scores of 45 and 43.
I was very confident of passing this time but could not.
I really don’t know what is going wrong.
It’s disappointing in a way to fail a paper which doesn’t require much hard work.
I have passed SBR and AFM in my first sitting and these two papers required much more hard work than SBL.
I don’t know which category to put SBL into.
I have given 6 months to it , though it does not require much work.and all that too without a job. Really frustrating!
Next, I am planning to appear for APM in September.
Then , I will go back to SBL as the last.

Task 1a– Analyse the current culture of company and recommend changes it can make (20 marks)

Task 1b- Discuss different leadership styles and discuss which one will suit the company
(12 marks)

Task 2a- Analyse the financials of company ( NPV projections question) 16 marks

Task 2b- Mention the risks faced by Co and recommend improvements it can make ( 18 marks)

Task 3-Assess the value adding activities which Co can use in Computer gaming ( 18 marks)

Task 4- Big data advantages and threats ( 16 marks)

The best thing is I attempted full 100 marks paper.
Task 4 and Task 2, I did very good.
Task 1 good.
Task 3 , very average but still I tried my best

I scored 45 in my first sitting.
Didn’t touch the exam kit and text.
Just followed Hasan sir’s advice.
His notes and drafted answers.
Personally, even after not getting a pass,
I do not feel there is a need to pick up the ACCA books.
The SBL paper is such that it tests you generally in so many ways.

I guess there are many in our group who did not touch the ACCA books and got good marks in 50s and 60s.

So, may be it’s more about working on your application and exam technique.

Anyone got these :
Section A: LC-90%, ERPS-integrated database system, incremental budgeting theory,residual income theory, ABC practical q, Throughput return per hour,

Section B- price elasticity , ABC costing ,sales variances
Section C – 1st building block model (comparing 2 airlines , with profitability, liquidity , risk and comment, another one with why building block model is useful in service ,
2nd equation CVP/BEP analysis,weighted avg. C/S ratio, margin of safety

In my previous sittings,I had a tough time in section C but not this time for sure.
I attempted paper of 100 marks .
Found the Q of pricing most difficult which was in section B.

Got 59 in my first attempt.

Failed PM with 46 on my second attempt.
Last time I got 49.
I am confident of doing well and passing in December’2021 exam.
I have PM only paper left in skill level.

I failed at 49,my second sitting.
I believed that I had given my best till the very end, practiced kit questions,mock tests,etc.
I was hit hard by one of the section C question which was of CVP.
I just couldn’t attend that question.
So,I attempted paper of around 85 marks.
It’s quite disappointing to be on this side.

I secured a good 56 after a 47 fail.
The key is to learn from your mistakes, and make your plan work.

I missed major marks in section C, will work on it especially single entity.
