First of all thank you Trephena for answering my previous question.

I have another question regarding the reporting date. The company I have chosen has Year end March so I am writing till March 2020. But I wanted to ask if I can include events after that period in my analysis such as Covid-19. Can I use it in both financial and business analysis in topic 8?

Also I am sorry, I did read something about this earlier but I was unable to find it again when I tried to search now.

    Dear @trephena,

I have chosen topic 8 for my RAP and I had some confusion I wanted to be cleared regarding excel sheet.

    1. Can I copy word to word all Financial Statements directly from Annual Reports?

    2. Is there any recommended format I should use? I have wrote both company 3 year data side by side on 1 sheet and since both companies have little differences in the way they published their statements I tried to put comparator data in same format as the main company, will that result in any problem?

    Thank you.

I do too. Even though i study good enough to pass with decent numbers, i still forget most of it but if i revise i remember again because it’s deep down in my memory. It’s the same as exercise, if you keep exercising you develop muscles but if you stop doing it you lose it but next time you workout your muscles will develop quicker because of muscle memory.

Thanks for the answer. I completed Inheritance tax now and just to be clear:

If a guy make a gift now to son for £100000, and live for next 7 years, what type of tax will be charged on it?
    And
If he makes a CLT to a trust for £325000, and lives for 7 years, his nil rate band will be used up right? And 8 years after that he leaves a property behind for inheritance will he get another £325000 nil rate band or not.

I would appreciate it if you can clarify this for me. Thank you!
