Best thing to do is to let ACCA know when submitting your application, they will decide if there is a matter to take further depending on if you didnt disclose it when becoming a student etc. From their point of view, were you hiding it when you became a student? Why are you only telling them now? It may be a caution that is not too serious and they may simply acknowledge it and carry on with your application as normal.

London South East is usually Crystal Palace or Charlton from my experiences.

Also received my certificate in the post and I have ordered a frame to decorate my wall 🙂 ! @Chris have you thought about going a step further to do the DipIFR course? I plan to do it June 2020.

@Chris if you go to “administer your account” then click “welcome” then click “application details” in top right, if you read the first paragraph and click “application correspondence”. You should see it?

    Hi Graham,

How does one opt out of receiving the PQ magazine and subscribing to the NQ magazine via email instead?

When I log into myACCA I can see ‘Member’ beside my ID number and I also appear on the Members register. I got an email saying I have been accepted as a member and certificate will be sealed end of the month and sent within 12 weeks etc. I dont know if we get another welcome email?

I would suggest calling them Chris.

So i had pass my final exam in july 2017 i have applied for my membership on 7th feb. I was told that I should be receiving communications from ACCA in 10 workings days. I have received nothing. The online tracking system show application received by ACCA on 7th.
When i call to enquire i was told to wait until 1st march. There is still no communication. Has anyone applied during period from 7th feb onwards and receive communication from ACCA.

Hi All, I am UK based and submitted my membership application on 4th March 2019. I haven’t received anything back from ACCA and according to some timelines on here, I should have been accepted to membership by now. Any advice? I will perhaps give them a call/email on Friday 15th March if I do not hear anything.

Hi All, when preparing for P5, I noticed it was a very short syllabus with quite a lot of models etc. The key here is to watch the lectures and make notes while watching. Make your notes as clear as possible for revision purposes. When it comes to revision time, read through your notes only for approx 2 days and then do past papers on the ACCA website, A past paper a day. When doing the first 3 or 4 past papers, do not time yourself but simply read the questions thoroughly and try to understand what it asks of you. It is important here that you do not try to write an answer down here. My method is to read the question and then get a bunch of plain A4 paper and write out the full answer as in the answer booklet. This will help your confidence and also teach you at the same time. If you do this 3 or 4 times then youll soon be perfect at answering the questions. This is the method I used for all my written papers and I passed all P level papers at the first attempt. Nearer to the exam date, go through your notes again but this time only do 2 past papers max, 1 of them can be timed but not both of them or your fingers will be on fire on exam day. Dont forget every point you make must be linked to the scenario!!! Goodluck.

Unfortunately I’ve never had an email with view in browser option. Good luck again to all.

Well even if you have, ACCA have blocked everyone from viewing their result now

It’s saying I have passed via that browser test email from 2017. I’m still afraid to believe it’s true.

I was seeing members@acca and could log into the portal.

Sounds like you’ve passed to me 🙂

ACCA P5 passed with 58 first attempt. Passed all professional papers at first attempt. My journey is over!!! Congrats to everyone who passed and unlucky to those that didnt, your time will come. I am based in London and ebusiness and link theories worked for me. I confirm ACCA said the results shown are correct and they have now blocked us from being able to view in browser again.
